La Femme Garniture

La Femme Garniture, het label van Sabine Van Acker, combineert kleur, geometrie en textuur tot wollen sjaals en plaids. Door haar achtergrond als grafisch vormgeefster heeft zij een sterk gevoel voor kleur en is voortdurend op zoek naar nieuwe combinaties van materialen, patronen en texturen.

Sabine heeft de geweldige gave om kleur bijna te kunnen voelen en wanneer ze ontwerpt, vertrouwt ze feilloos op haar intuïtie en materialen kennis. Merino wol, de zijde onder de wolsoorten, heeft haar voorkeur, sterk, licht en zacht. Al haar werk wordt geproduceerd in België.

La Femme Garniture, Sabine Van Acker’s label, combines colour, geometry and texture into woolen scarves and plaids. Because of her background as a graphic designer, she has a strong sense of colour and is constantly looking for new combinations of materials, patterns and textures.

Sabine has the amazing gift of almost being able to feel color and when she designs, she relies flawlessly on her intuition and materials knowledge. Merino wool, the silk among the wools, is her favourite, strong, light and soft. All her work is produced in Belgium.
